Dr. Michael Sretavan

I graduated from the McGill University Faculty of Dentistry, with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1984. I was fortunate enough to graduate with a title of University Scholar as well. After graduation, I trained for a year at the Department of Dentistry at Vancouver General Hospital as a dental resident which gave me a wide range of experience in hospital dentistry. I have been in private practice in both Vancouver (Kitsilano) and Port Moody for over 25 years.

Over the last 25 years of private practice, not one day has passed that I do not constantly value the trust my patients have placed upon me. I truly feel I have been blessed with the opportunity to be able to provide them with the best dentistry today. I take that trust very seriously and I try to maintain that trust by improving my knowledge in the latest advances in the dental field. One of the most gratifying things that I have been able to experience has been that trust being passed on from one generation to the next.

In the past few years, many advances in technology, techniques and materials have become available to provide many more dental treatment options for patients. I truly believe that constant continual education in these advancements is making dental treatment less invasive and more enjoyable for our patients. As part of my commitment to continuing dental education, I participate in two well-established dental study clubs in the city; one for orthodontics and the other for crowns/ bridges/dentures/implants.
