Office Visit

You may ask; am I due for a dental Visit? The Canadian Dental Association recommends that even in the absence of any dental issues, visiting the dentist every six months for routine check-ups and cleanings is crucial to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

Our practices are committed to providing every patient with the highest standard of dentistry that we can offer. We understand that every patients’ needs are different. Please feel free to let us know what your concerns are, and we will do our best to make sure that your first or subsequent appointments will be comfortable and rewarding.

ALL YOUR APPOINTMENTS ARE ABOUT YOU

We believe in giving all our patients 100% of our attention. One thing that you will notice that makes us different is that you will have Dr. Sretavan’s undivided attention for your entire appointment whether it is for a filling, crown, or a regular check-up and cleaning.

Before your first visit to our office, please download the patient information form as well as our medical/dental questionnaire and fill them out as thoroughly as possible. This information is kept completely private, and will help us in providing you with the safest and most appropriate dental care.

If you have dental insurance, please bring in your insurance information as well. Dental Insurance may be confusing for many people but we will try our best to explain to you how it applies to you and your dental health.

What to expect from your first visit:

• A review your dental and medical history forms
• Updated x-rays of your teeth and mouth, if last complete x-rays were done a year or more ago.(If less that a year ago, we will try to borrow them from your previous dentist).
• A complete check-up including checking for health assessment of teeth, gums, other soft tissues in the mouth, and jaw joints.
• Initial cleaning of teeth. (depending on amount of cleaning required, cleaning may need more than one appointment)

Due to the extensiveness of the initial exam, please allow for at least an hour in your busy schedule for the appointment.
